What kind of dust removal bag should be chosen for dust with high humidity? In fact, when choosing a dust removal bag, it is necessary to analyze it based on the specific working conditions you are using, such as the temperature of use, the characteristics of dust, and whether it is corrosive. Only by identifying these factors can you determine which type of dust removal bag to use.
Waterproof, oil proof, and dust removal cloth bags are made by impregnating, pre drying, and baking needle punched felt with hydrophobic and oil repellent agents. After rapid drying, hydrophobic and oleophobic agents are wrapped in a mesh on the surface of filter material fibers, thereby reducing the surface tension between water and oil and the filter bag, causing the working fluid to react with certain functional groups in the macromolecular structure of the filter material to form macromolecular chains, changing the affinity between fibers and water and oil, and reducing the surface tension of the filter material to less than that of water and oil. Thus avoiding the phenomenon of sticking bags, suitable for dust removal of high humidity and high oil content gases.
Four conditions for selecting dust removal bags:
- Temperature: Due to the ability of dust removal bags with different filter materials to withstand different temperatures for a long time, if the working temperature is higher than the temperature of the dust removal bag, the bag will quickly be damaged.
- Humidity: The moisture content in the gas is high, and the recording point is also high. It is easy to condense in the bag filter, making the dust simply bound to the bag filter and affecting the cleaning effect. If the vacuum cleaner frequently runs up and down the recording point, sometimes the temperature is higher than the recording point, and sometimes it is lower than the recording point, then the dust removal bag will be more brittle and easily damaged. Another important issue is that if the bag filter operates under high temperature and relatively humid conditions, some dust removal bags may be quickly damaged due to hydrolysis.
- Chemical composition: If the dusty gas treated by the bag filter contains acids, alkalis, or solvents, a bag filter that can resist the corrosion of these substances should be selected separately. If you are dealing with hot gases and contain a large amount of oxygen or oxidizable dust, some dust removal bags will be damaged. Gas damage containing sulfur will increase the recording point.
- Flammability and explosion possibility: If the dusty air contains combustible gases such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide, methane, acetylene, or dust such as grains and aluminum reaches the concentration range, it will cause a violent explosion when encountering a fire source. In this case, flame-retardant electrostatic dust removal bags should be selected.
